Thanks for visiting my blog. My mission in life is to ensure that no senior is in distress and that they are knowledgeable about all the options they have to make important decisions to enhance their lives. These are big shoes to fill, but I am committed to this mission, and completes it with passion, purpose and compassion for others.
Born and raised in Southern California, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from San Diego State University, with an emphasis in public relations. After an over 11 year career in public relations, I found my calling – to work with seniors by bringing joy and quality to their lives – through my new career in marketing at senior communities, which I did for over 7 years. Prior to that, I took care of my husband’s 99 year-old grandmother in her home for several years until she died peacefully at 104 years old.
I am empathetic to the challenges adult children face when helping their aging parents. As a baby boomer myself, I am currently helping and coordinating live-in care for my parents in Southern California. This has inspired me to start SOS 4 Seniors, bringing seniors and their family members my experience in senior housing, help and resources, so they can choose the best options for their loved ones.
Again, thanks for visiting and hope my information is helpful to you.
